Why I Created A “My Interests” Section
The idea of incorporating "My interests" into the blog has been with me since the very beginning.
I want to share with you my personal experiences and good practices I found working quite well for me.
I thought it might be beneficial for you to read about some common problems we all deal with, and the possible solutions.
However, you need to be aware that these are very subjective pieces of advice and are based on my specific situation and the ways I do things.
I cannot guarantee that you will achieve the same results as I have. We are different individuals with different backgrounds and experiences. Nevertheless, I encourage you to consider these suggestions and potentially adapt them to your needs.
I must admit, I still currently have challenges discovering what I really would like to do in life.
I often got frustrated because I don’t know where to start. I wasn’t sure how to begin or what should be done first. The truth is, I have many interests, but I am often without meaningful insights or indications of where to go.
A while back, I came across a podcast from Jim Rohn, who is an entrepreneur and motivational speaker.
He spoke about personal development, and I remember a question he asked: what kind of person would you like to become? This was so meaningful for me, and I thought about it a lot. It’s something I didn’t really consider. It brought me to a conclusion.
I finally realized the kind of person I would like to be.
I want to be healthy, happy, and skilled.
You might think, “Ok, but that is so broad.” You’re right, but you need to specify those terms to your own understanding.
Being healthy for me mostly means to be in great shape, full of energy, and feel good most of the time. The same is part of being happy and skilled.
For you it might be something different.
The most important part is to identify those things and take some action to improve the state you are in.
If I want to be healthy, what do I need to do to achieve it? Maybe I can start with doing some simple exercises, or examine my diet? What about my behavior? Am I often stressed, rushing all the time?
By asking questions like this, and digging deep into ourselves, we are closer to understanding what is going on in our life. This is how can start getting better.
The crucial thing is to take responsibility for our life. Nobody will do it for us.
The sooner we understand it, the better.
I always wanted to do something meaningful, and I am still looking for it. I thought sharing what I experience would be a good start. Maybe you are in the similar situation, and you might find it helpful reading my blog. If that’s the case, I am supper happy about it 😊
I do know this.
You can become the person you want to be.
Here is something worth considering.
First- just ask yourself this question: “what kind of person would you like to become”?
Second- think about what needs to be done to achieve it.
Finally – take some action.
I cannot tell you this process will be easy, but if you really desire some improvement, you will get it!
You can do it!
In the following blog posts I will share with you my experiences and some good practices you might find interesting and helpful in your situation.
So, stay tuned 😊
Wishing you all the best!
